  •     The American Heart Association Go Red for Women (http://www.goredforwomen.org) is a branch of the AHA that specifically addresses the concern of cardiovascular disease in women. Every year, hundreds of thousands of women succumb to heart disease – many of whom never even knew they were ill. The Go Red for Women initiatives work to increase awareness about the disease, and encourage more women to take the necessary precautions in order to lower their risk.
  •     Breast Cancer Angels (http://www.breastcancerangels.org) is a nonprofit organization that gives women who were diagnosed with breast cancer emotional, financial and spiritual support during their treatment. Breast Cancer Angels serves more than 400 women every year.
  •     The Jenesse Center for Domestic Violence (http://www.jenesse.org) offers victims of abuse not only a refuge, but also the tools to improve their lives and the lives of their families. The center provides a safe place for violence survivors to gain the necessary life skills and counseling in order to successfully begin new lives. The center offers life skills courses, continuing and vocational education, health services, mental health services, legal services and housing procurement assistance.

Direct donations can also be made via the charities’ individual websites.

The City of Refuge (http://www.noeljonesministries.org) is a Bible-believing, Christian church serving a growing membership of 17,000 in Gardena, California. The church has been led by Bishop Noel Jones since 1994.
